I am Larissa Smith from the Piikani Nation of the Blackfoot Peoples, and I am a Masters of Science in Biological Sciences student at the University of Lethbridge. I study in the Prairie to Pharmacy laboratory, where I investigate prairie plants and their connections to health, wellbeing, and new knowledge through the scope of Blackfoot (Niitsitapi) Traditional Knowledge. I am reaching out to discuss possible arrangements in presenting the Scientific Properties of Prairie Plants with Blackfoot (Niitsitapi) Traditional Knowledge at Salish Kootenai College.
